Description of this toolkit:

Starting a license server in command line: lmgrd.exe -c my-license-file.lic -l my-debug-log-file.log

Custom Vendor Utility generator : GetESIVDH.exe

This utility is used by KCAEGetHostID.exe executable. There is no need to use it directly.

FNP Licensing Service utility for Virtual Machine support, composed of

install_fnls.exe
FNPLicensingService\installanchorservice.exe
FNPLicensingService\uninstallanchorservice.exe
FNPLicensingService\FNP_Act_Installer.dll

Starting this service as Administrator (using delivered utility install_fnls.exe to facilitate the usage) is mandatory when using Virtual Machines as license server.
This service is required by FNP Licensing toolkit in order to get VM_UUID Host ID type on Virtual Machines.
This service is required too when starting the license server daemon on Virtual Machines with this Host ID type.

Utility delivered by Keysight : KCAEGetHostID.exe

KCAEGetHostID.exe helps getting necessary details from a computer to be used as license server.
Running KCAEGetHostID.exe script will display the necessary system information that will be used for the generation of license file.
The resulting text file KCAEGetHostID_ComputerName_date.txt has to be sent to Keysight for license generation & support.

Utility to obfuscate the usernames in the logs : lmobfslog.exe

The lmobfslog utility processes the debug log file to generate the obfuscated usernames. Usage: lmobfslog [-i debug_log] [-o new_debug_log] <-rmarker>
Note: lmobfslog works only if the debug log has been produced with OBF_ADDMARK keyword. The lmobfslog utility can then generate obfuscated usernames in a new debug log.
To do, add the line DEBUGLOG "debug_log_path" OBF_ADDMARK in options file pam_lmd.opt.

Utility delivered by Keysight :esiflexdiag.exe

esiflexdiag.exe parses the content of a license file (given as argument) and displays lots of relevant details from a running license server.

Sometimes VM_UUID could not be determined, following message will be displayed:

INFO: Ensure that FlexNet Licensing Service is well started.
This is required to obtain VM_UUID Host ID type on Virtual Platforms.
Install it by running following script as Administrator:
    C:\flexlm\install_fnls.exe

There is a special line about FNPLicensingService availability.
It must be installed/configured as Administrator in order to get VM_UUID Host ID type because we are on a Virtual Machine in that example.

2.2 After executing install_fnls.exe (with Administrator rights), we obtain this output:

Now VM_UUID Host ID is correctly displayed and can be used to create the license file.

Known issues:
Virtual Machine using Windows 11: KCAEGetHostID script may face difficulties identifying VM_UUID
