- This document describes the procedure to perform the upgrade of Keysight 3070 software starting from version 05.00p to 05.4xp.

System Requirements: Keysight 3x7x or Test Development PC
Controller Requirements: Windows ® PC
Operating System: Microsoft ® Windows XP SP2
Software Requirements: 05.40pb

This Software Update may be installed only on MS Windows XP SP2 systems with 3070 05.40pb. It can be installed on systems with 3070 Test System Software or 3070 Development Software. Microsoft and Windows are U.S. registered trademarks of Microsoft Corporation.

The Software Update must be installed by the administrator login (or a login with administrator privileges).

Installation Instructions

To download the 05.41p Software Update on Windows Systems running the 3070 05.40pb software release:

  1. Click on 3070 05.41p 0606 WN Download. Save this file to disk.
  2. Close all open programs
  3. Go to the directory in which the file was saved and double-click on Keysight3070_0541p.exe
  4. Follow the Install Shield instructions for installation.
  5. To validate that the software installed correctly, bring up a Korn Shell window. On the menu bar, click START then click Programs, then click Keysight 3070, then click Korn Shell. In the Korn Shell window, type version and return. The software revision "3070 05.41p 0606 WN" should display.
  6. Delete the Keysight 3070_0541p.exe file.
