Forming & Molding (PAM-COMPOSITES) is a unique Finite Element (FE) simulation software package for the modeling of the manufacturing process of composite structural or non-structural components reinforced or not by continuous or non-continuous fibers.

It addresses:

  • structural components made of carbon, glass or natural continuous fibers
  • structural or semi-structural Sheet Molding Compound (SMC) components
  • non-structural components made of plastics, chopped fibers, carpets, external coating fabrics..., commonly used for automotive and aeronautic interior parts.

Keysight CAE Forming & Molding (PAM-COMPOSITES) is a unique Finite Element (FE) simulation software package for the modeling of the manufacturing process of composite structural or non-structural components reinforced or not by continuous or non-continuous fibers.

Keysight CAE Forming & Molding (PAM-COMPOSITES) 2026.0 is composed of following applications:

  • Visual-Environment 24.0.1

  • CSM solver 46.1.0 (for PAM-FORM and PAM-DISTORTION)

  • CMX solver 2026.0.1 (for PAM-RTM and PAM-SMC)

  • CPD to KCAE Composites for CATIA V5 2026.0

  • PAM-OPT 2026.0 (required for "Design of Experiments" module of RTM)
