1. Open command prompt.


2. Point to the directory of the firmware files (.exe) where it located. The firmware files name format is “M9161D_A_00_01.exe”.

3.Then type in the command, example: M9161D_A_00_01 PXI23::12::0::INSTR. The module’s VISA address can be obtained from Keysight Connection Expert or Soft Front Panel.
 

4. Restart the instrument after the firmware upgrade is completed.
