This process will update the instrument software and all the measurement applications. Measurement applications require a license key to enable their functionality.
Installing the latest instrument software version is encouraged to guarantee your E6680A instrument compatibility and performance.
Some customers may prefer a prior instrument software release. Downgrades can be difficult because of all the changes and updates in the most current instrument software version. The document below was written to provide the proper steps should a downgrade be required.
