U1056B 配置系统使用 PXI 和 CompactPCI（cPCI）高速数据转换器模块组合成一个完整的数据采集系统。每个系统均有 PC 接口或嵌入式单板机可供选择，并提供机箱和软件，可以创建一个最多有 80 个数字转换器采集通道的完整系统。
各种 cPCI 数字转换器可分别提供 8 位、10 位 和12 位的分辨率。1 通道、2 通道或 4 通道 8 位分辨率数字转换器可提供高达 1 GHz 的带宽和高达 4 GS/s 的采样率；10 位数字转换器可提供高达 3 GHz 的超宽模拟带宽和高达 8 GS/s 的采样率；而 12 位数字转换器则可提供 2 个通道，以及 300 MHz 的模拟带宽和 400 MS/s 的采样率。
