Profiling of LiFePo4 Batteries for EV Testing with Keysight Battery Emulator

This first part application note video showcases how we can characterize and profile Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries used by electric vehicles (EVs) with the Keysight Battery Emulator. By characterizing the battery, we can observe test parameters such as the internal resistance, open circuit voltage, terminal voltage, current, battery capacity, during charge, and discharge operations.
In part 2, we will showcase how we can use this generated profile to emulate the actual battery using the Keysight Battery Emulator.
