- On Windows 7, before installing this version of Keysight License Manager, you must do the following:
- Ensure that your machine is running Windows 7 SP1: see Install Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) (microsoft.com).
- Install Microsoft Update KB3140245; see https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/search.aspx?q=kb3140245
This update provides the bulk of the TLS 1.2 support for Windows / WES 7 SP1. - After installing the update, you will be prompted to restart the machine. Restart before proceeding.
- Now you must apply a registry patch. Put the following into a file named TLSFix_TLS11-TLS12.reg :
