Innovating for 6G: Insights from Northeastern University

Webinars

Keysight visited 6G researchers at Northeastern University to explore how they’re addressing the challenges of high-speed, high-bandwidth wireless communication. The team shared insights from their cutting-edge work, including strategies to reduce path loss and noise at higher frequencies, defend against digital threats to communication channels, and enable real-time, upper-layer network applications.

In the webinar, attendees saw live 6G demonstrations from Northeastern’s lab, including the following:

  • Boosting data throughput and transmission distance using MIMO systems
  • Emulating an eavesdropping attack on a 6G signal to identify vulnerabilities
  • Running a real-time, end-to-end sub-THz link to support network-layer research

Webinar host Daniel Bogdanoff and Keysight’s 6G expert Roger Nichols guided the session and answered audience questions about 6G testing and technology.
