RF Synthesis 2025 continues to offer the complete RF circuit and system synthesis capabilities in an affordable, accurate and easy-to-use simulation software that you’ve come to love. This release delivers new and enhanced capabilities to improve productivity and usability for RF and Microwave circuit and system designers.
More accurate models for frequency multipliers and dividers
The frequency multipliers and dividers have been enhanced to support spurious responses around the fundamental tone frequencies. These spurious responses are created by primary and secondary input signals. A difference spectrum is also created between the primary input spectrum and the secondary offset spectrum.

More accurate system phase noise analysis that includes thermal noise
New measurements, Noise_Total_SSB_Hi and Noise_Total_SSB_Lo, were added, which are the sum of phase and thermal noise. This value is reported in dBm/Hz.
Enhanced security with MATLAB scripting by Keysight
MATLAB® Script engine by Keysight.
This installer removes the dependency on the obsolete .NET and Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages for better security against unpatched exploits, memory corruption attacks, and DLL hijacking.

MDIF data import and management from ADS and Instrumentation
Multidimensional data can be sliced into a new variable for plotting and manipulation. Dataset viewability is improved with sorting out-of-order values in imported datasets with multiple independent variables that contain data gaps. Complex data are interpolated in polar domain, and complex dB data are interpolated in dB domain.
Updated vendor parts library from ADI and Modelithics
Updated Modelithics Select substrate dependent, equivalent circuit vendor parts library for use with Vendor Parts Synthesis capabilities. Updated Analog Devices Inc (ADI) vendor parts S-parameter library.

Useability improvements with more intuitive simulation control
On the RF Simulation Parameters - Calculate Tab dialog, changed label text from "with Emphasis at Offsets" to "Extra Frequency Offsets".
Enhanced stability and accuracy with multiple bug fixes.
- Fixed phase noise missing calculation at certain points along a system path.
- Corrected phase calculation of mixer noise in parallel mixer configurations used for splitting and recombining.
- Intermod frequency lookup now uses the carrier frequency which its data is based instead of its own intermod frequency.
- Other minor bug fixes throughout for reliability and performance.
