Chassis firmware 1.4.2 contains:

• For use with ESM M9505-00132, M9505-00232, or older only. DO NOT upgrade to this FW version if you are using ESM M9505-00133, M9505-00233 or greater.
• Support M9538A embedded controller. Required use with drivers 1.4.72.1.

Chassis firmware 2.2.4 contains:

• For use with ESM M9505-00133, M9505-00233 or greater only. DO NOT upgrade to this FW version if you are using ESM M9505-00132, M9505-00232, or older.
  
• Fixed Slot 1 peripheral module not activating at chassis boot.
• Enhanced M9505A power capability checks for greater reliability. 

Chassis firmware 2.2.3 contains:

• For use with ESM M9505-00133, M9505-00233 or greater only. DO NOT upgrade to this FW version if you are using ESM M9505-00132, M9505-00232, or older.
  
• Support M9538A embedded controller. Required use with drivers 1.4.72.1.

Chassis firmware 1.4.1 contains:

• For use with ESM M9505-00132, M9505-00232, or older only. DO NOT upgrade to this FW version if you are using ESM M9505-00133, M9505-00233 or greater.
• Support M9502-00019 and M9505-00019 fan assemblies.
• Update controller fan FW to fix fan speed triggered issue.

Chassis firmware 2.2.1 contains:

• For use with ESM M9505-00133, M9505-00233 or greater only. DO NOT upgrade to this FW version if you are using ESM M9505-00132, M9505-00232, or older.
  
• Support M9502-00019 and M9505-00019 fan assemblies.
  
• Update controller fan FW to fix fan speed triggered issue.

Chassis firmware 1.4.0 contains:

• For use with ESM M9505-00132, M9505-00232, or older only. DO NOT upgrade to this FW version if you are using ESM M9505-00133, M9505-00233 or greater.
• Support M9502-00019 and M9505-00019 fan assemblies.
• Improve fan algorithm to limit fan speed in high CPU usage applications.

Chassis firmware 2.2.0 contains:

• For use with ESM M9505-00133, M9505-00233 or greater only. DO NOT upgrade to this FW version if you are using ESM M9505-00132, M9505-00232, or older.
  
• Support M9502-00019 and M9505-00019 fan assemblies.
  
• Improve fan algorithm to limit fan speed in high CPU usage applications.
  
• Add delay feature for PCIe Upstream Connection.
  

Chassis firmware 1.3.46 contains:

• For use with ESM M9505-00132, M9505-00232, or older only. DO NOT upgrade to this FW version if you are using ESM M9505-00133, M9505-00233 or greater.
• Resolve chassis FRU issue with checksum error during firmware bootup showing behaviors of ESM status LED always flashing green and not enumerating installed modules.
• Firmware update to 1.3.46 or later is recommended if the ESM is moved to a different chassis.

Chassis firmware 2.1.6 contains:

• For use with ESM M9505-00133, M9505-00233 or greater only. DO NOT upgrade to this FW version if you are using ESM M9505-00132, M9505-00232, or older.
• Resolve chassis FRU issue causes modules unable to enumerate when using with USB ESM.
• Resolve unable to set fan speed issue when using with non_USB ESM

Chassis firmware 1.3.46 contains:

• For use with ESM M9505-00132, M9505-00232, or older only. DO NOT upgrade to this FW version if you are using ESM M9505-00133, M9505-00233 or greater.
• Resolve chassis FRU issue with checksum error during firmware bootup showing behaviors of ESM status LED always flashing green and not enumerating installed modules.
• Firmware update to 1.3.46 or later is recommended if the ESM is moved to a different chassis.

Chassis firmware 2.1.5 contains:

• For use with ESM M9505-00133, M9505-00233 or greater only. DO NOT upgrade to this FW version if you are using ESM M9505-00132, M9505-00232, or older.
• Allow ESM M9505-00133, M9505-00233 or greater to work with chassis serial number TW61130000 or below.
• Resolve chassis FRU issue with checksum error during firmware bootup showing behaviors of ESM status LED always flashing green and not enumerating installed modules.
• Firmware update to 2.1.5 or later is recommended if the ESM is moved to a different chassis.

Chassis firmware 2.1.4 contains:
 

• Initial release to support newer version of ESMs used together with chassis serial number TW61130001 or greater. This FW can only be used with ESM M9505-00133, M9505-00233, or greater.  DO NOT upgrade to this FW version if you are using ESM M9505-00132, M9505-00232, or older.
• Chassis serial number TW61130000 or below with ESM M9505-00132, M9505-00232, or older should only use FW version 1.3.45.  This FW can only be used with ESM M9505-00133, M9505-00233, or greater.  DO NOT upgrade to this FW version if you are using ESM M9505-00132, M9505-00232, or older.
• Repair issue with hotplug of the USB cable for ESM M9505-00233 or greater.
  
• Add new "Publish Address" ipmi command for ESM M9505-00233 or greater. This allows the DDS modules such as U4421A and U4431A to work in chassis with serial number TW61130001 or greater.
  

Chassis firmware 1.3.45 will:
 

• Rebrand the Chassis Web Interface from “Agilent” to “Keysight”.
• Repair Health tab on M950xA Web Interface showed incorrect values at Sensor readings.

Chassis firmware 1.3.44 will:
 

• Update the shelf manager to firmware 1.44.
• Repair an intermittent issue where the chassis is unable to communicate with modules after a boot up if this firmware is combined with chassis drivers 1.4.4.1 or later. This will support obtaining chassis IP address through PCIe switch register instead of using LxiMdnsResponder to resolve the issue.

Fixed 3 problems that caused:

1. embedded controller M9537A to fail to detect some AXIe modules.
2. embedded controller M9037A to fail to establish a PCIe link to the M9502A/M9505A when using some Y1202A PCIe cables.
3. the minimum fan level to not be enforced during startup after the dynamic minimum fan level was set in the previous session.
