Keysight U4998A HDMI 和 MHL 1.4b 协议/音频/视频分析仪和发生器模块支持对器件进行测试，以确保器件符合 HDMI 1.4b 或 MHL 1.2 一致性测试规范（CTS）。U4998A 可直接替换 N5998A。N5998A 是 HDMI CTS 推荐的是德上一代 HDMI 协议/音频/视频分析仪和发生器。HDMI CTS 1.4b 推荐使用 U4998A 进行 4K x 2K 一致性测试（测试 7-39）。
U4998A AXIe 模块最先支持以 3.4 Gbps 最大跳变调制差分信令（TMDS）数据速率进行信号源和接收机一致性测试。这一数据速率是支持 4K x2K 分辨率所必需的。此外，该模块广泛的功能可以让用户测试合规代码、基本协议、数据包类型、像素编码、视频格式计时、AVI Infoframe、ACR、音频采样数据包抖动、深色、三维视频格式等等。
