The W7016E PathWave IC-CAP SiC PowerMOS Power Electronics Modeling Add-on software package enables the extraction of parameters of circuit compact models for Si and SiC PowerMOS devices.

Highlights

The W7016E PathWave IC-CAP Power Electronics PowerMOS SiC Extraction Package Add-on includes:

  • Parameter extraction for Keysight’s latest state-of-the-art silicon (Si) or silicon carbide (SiC) PowerMOS model
  • Automatic import of measured data (DC, CV and S-parameters when available)
  • New UI, fast data visualization, preconfigured and automated model extraction
  • Temperature dependent modeling
  • Model verification and quality check, including report generation

The Power Electronics Model Generator (PEMG) imports simple and advanced measurement data and automatically extracts a model that can be used in PathWave Advanced Design System (ADS). The PEMG is part of the larger PD1000A Power Device Measurement System for Advanced Modeling, which covers power device measurements, modeling, and circuit simulation. For modeling engineers who plan to innovate their own extraction flows, this tool allows the maximum flexibility to customize their extraction sequences.
