Selection of RSE Use Case Demos

The video introduces a sequence of use cases, starting with digital signal processing (DSP) and a basic radar functions demonstration. It demonstrates the RSE emulating targets, starting from 1, 2, and 3 targets, up to 64 in a single row and 512 in 8 rows. Next, it covers perception and variant handling testing, where the RSE emulates simple targets, such as a pedestrian model generated from synthetic data versus a 3D simulation in various scenarios. These scenarios include a pedestrian model alone, a pedestrian model in an urban setting without clutter, a pedestrian model in an urban setting with clutter, and pre-recorded data of a pedestrian in an urban scenario.

Following this, the video demonstrates Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Automated Driving (AD) function testing, showcasing the RSE emulating New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) related scenarios: ghost targets reflected by guardrails in a Car-to-Car Rear Static (CCRs) Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) NCAP scenario, and a full AEB CCRs NCAP scenario. This tests the performance of the camera/radar sensor fusion system. Finally, the video has an Easter Egg featuring Doom playing in radar view on the RSE.
